About the course
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
وعن معاوية رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : ”من يرد الله به خيرًا يفقه في الدين” ((متفق عليه))
“When Allah wishes good for someone, He bestows upon him the Fiqh (understanding) of Deen.”
This course is designed to help the student prepare themselves for the upcoming ‘Essentials 2018-2019 modules’. From some of the important subjects covered in the course are –
- The importance of seeking knowledge
- Patience and Perseverance in seeking knowledge
- Consideration of difference sciences of knowledge and putting first that which is most important
- Etiquettes of the student of knowledge
- Honoring and Respecting the people of knowledge
- Returning back to the people of knowledge in difficult matters
- Protecting one’s time in knowledge
- and much more..
The course will also offer an open Question and Answer session at the end of each session.
Important Note: Students who have already attended the previous Essentials are welcome to discuss with Ustad AbdulRahman on the subjects that will be covered in the upcoming modules.
About the speaker
Ustadh Abu Salma AbdulRahman Hassan memorised Qur’an and Buloogh Al-Muraam by the age of 10. He has travelled to different countries to study with a number of prominent scholars. He resides in London and teaches in various Masaajid there.
He is also the founder of Al Madrasatu Al Umariyyah, an online program in the English language for seeking knowledge in the classical way.
