New Muslims face significant challenges. One of these challenges is that despite an abundance of material in books and on the internet, information is of varying quality and accuracy, and is often spread across many places. This information is often mixed with content which is inappropriate, too detailed, or confusing for a new Muslim. There is also a lack of simple, structured material from which a new Muslim can learn that which they really need to know in the first few days and weeks.
Welcome to Islam is a unique programme for new muslim sisters, dealing with the first few weeks of a person’s life as a muslimah. We intend to cover only the things that are essential for a new muslim sister to know, in a way that is easily accessible to people who are new to Islam.
Week 1: Know God and Shahada & itâs pillars.
Week 2: Pillars of Islam and pillars of Iman
Week 3: Midterm exam, cleanness and Adhan.
Week 4: prayer part 1
Week 5: prayer part 2 & congregation.
Week 6: Islamic is balance and moderation.
Week 7: Rights in Islam: “family and relationships” .
Week 8: clothing and privacy the forbidden and Obeying the Rules.

âTherefore remember Me (by praying, glorifying, etc.). I will remember youâ[al-Baqarah 2:152]
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) commanded us to recite a lot of Tasbeeh (“Subhan-Allaah”), Tahmeed (“Al-hamdu Lillaah”) and Takbeer (“Allaahu akbar”) during this time. âAbdullaah ibn âUmar (may Allaah be pleased with him and his father) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “There are no days greater in the sight of Allaah and in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Him than these ten days, so during this time recite a great deal of Tahleel (“La ilaaha ill-Allaah”), Takbeer and Tahmeed.”
(Reported by Ahmad, 7/224; Ahmad Shaakir stated that it is saheeh).
