The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allaah than these ten days.” The people asked, “Not even jihaad for the sake of Allaah?” He said, “Not even jihaad for the sake of Allaah, except in the case of a man who went out to fight giving himself and his wealth up for the cause, and came back with nothing.” (Reported by al-Bukhaari, 2/457)

 

About the lecture
With the 10 days of Dhul Hijjah approaching we need to be ready to welcome these days and prepare ourselves with all the necessary tools in order to worship Allah with the best of our ability. As Muslims we wish to follow in the footsteps of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessing of Allah be upon him) and so this lecture will provide vital information to the students on how our the Messenger of Allah spent his first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah.
From fasting in these days to sounding the takbeer and from tahajjud to distributing charity all this and much more will be covered in this short lecture. 

About the speaker
Sister Fatima Diaby is a student of knowledge in Islamic Studies based in the U.A.E. She is a graduate from the Academy of Creteil in France majoring in Literature and language as Specialty. She has many years of teaching experience in various fields such as languages, Islamic workshop and summer camps. She took most of her Islamic education from her father who was, Professor in Islamic theology and an Imam .She has studied islamic sciences at various centers in dubai like kalemah Masjid Aisha Etc…, she pursued the memorization of the Holy Quran at the reputable Quran centres Otrojah and Riad Saliheen
She is currently enrolled at Knowledge International University – K.S.A and prepares a double major in Islamic Studies while attending various Majaalis which are promoting authentic knowledge.

About the course

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

وعن معاوية رضي الله عنه قال‏:‏ قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏:‏ ‏”‏من يرد الله به خيرًا يفقه في الدين‏”‏ ‏(‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)‏

“When Allah wishes good for someone, He bestows upon him the Fiqh (understanding) of Deen.”

This course is designed to help the student prepare themselves for the upcoming ‘Essentials 2018-2019 modules’. From some of the important subjects covered in the course are –

  • The importance of seeking knowledge
  • Patience and Perseverance in seeking knowledge
  • Consideration of difference sciences of knowledge and putting first that which is most important
  • Etiquettes of the student of knowledge
  • Honoring and Respecting the people of knowledge
  • Returning back to the people of knowledge in difficult matters
  • Protecting one’s time in knowledge
  • and much more..

The course will also offer an open Question and Answer session at the end of each session.

Important Note: Students who have already attended the previous Essentials are welcome to discuss with Ustad AbdulRahman on the subjects that will be covered in the upcoming modules.

About the speaker

Ustadh Abu Salma AbdulRahman Hassan memorised Qur’an and Buloogh Al-Muraam by the age of 10. He has travelled to different countries to study with a number of prominent scholars. He resides in London and teaches in various Masaajid there.

He is also the founder of Al Madrasatu Al Umariyyah, an online program in the English language for seeking knowledge in the classical way.

Let us enable you to build a strong foundation for your child. A first of its kind Quranic playschool with teachings based on the Noble Quran.

They will thoroughly enjoy while learning and playing with their teachers and friends.

Course Structure

Each nursery day is divided into two sessions, Arabic & English. Primary focus at the playschool will be to teach the kids Arabic alphabets, shorts surahs, selected duas, Islamic manners along with the regular English alphabets and numerals.The theme has been purposefully designed to teach them about Allah, His Messenger ﷺ and Islam while also working on the child’s social, mental and behavioural skills.

There’ll be lots to do including arts & crafts, lessons of the prophets, prayer workshop, Hajj roleplay plus cooking fun – all designed with your kid’s development in mind. Teachers and volunteers will be on hand throughout the day.

Dialogue with the People of Logic

Islamic Information Center is pleased to present “Dialogue with the People of Logic (Batch Two)” with instructor Ibrahim Elshahat.
