In light of the current situation surrounding the COVID-19 coronavirus and the associated restrictions on movement in Dubai and temporary closure of Islamic Centres, JILC is hosting a number of activities online now and throughout the month of Ramadan in’sha’Allah.

NEW MUSLIM CLASSES
WITH SHEIKH AYAZ HOUSEE VIA ZOOM
MONDAYS FROM 7:30PM IN’SHA’ALLAH
The open classes are for anyone wishing to increase their knowledge and understanding of our beautiful religion. Sheikh Ayaz will explain a specific concept or topic in detail and will be open to answering any questions.

Please join the Zoom class via the link below. Ensure your microphone is muted and camera is switched off if you don’t want to appear on screen.

QURAN TAJWEED CLASS FOR BROTHERS
WITH SHEIKH AYAZ HOUSEE VIA ZOOM
MONDAYS FROM 8:30PM IN’SHA’ALLAH
After the new Muslim classes, Sheikh Ayaz Housee will host his regular Tajweed classes for brothers to improve their recitation and understanding of the holy Quran.

HOME SCHOOLING CLASSES
WITH USTADHA FATIMA VIA WEBEX
SUN-WED FOR 45MINS/DAY IN’SHA’ALLAH
The JILC home schooling classes will restart next week in’sha’Allah where children can learn stories and lessons from the holy Quran with an experienced qualified teacher.

Those interested in signing up their children aged 6 + years should get in touch with JILC via e-mail and we will connect you with the teacher.

FAMILY FITNESS CLASSES
WITH SHEIKH TAHER VIA ZOOM
WEDNESDAY & FRIDAY AT 5PM IN’SHA’ALLAH
To keep us a little more activity whilst we’re staying at home, Sheikh Taher Khalid – a trained instructor – will be holding 30minute long fitness classes twice a week. The sessions are accessible to everyone and all ages are encouraged to take part.

Those interested in joining the fitness classes should join the WhatsApp group to be notified of the link to each of the classes.

LECTURE NIGHT THURSDAY
VIA CROWDCAST
THURSDAYS AT 8:30PM IN’SHA’ALLAH
We will be hosting online lectures each Thursday until the last 10 days of Ramadan in’sha’Allah. These lectures are one of the most popular activities at JILC and you can now join from the comfort of your own home.

Please sign up on the crowdcast platform to secure your spot at the lecture and receive a notification each week ahead of the session starting. The lectures can be accessed via mobile or laptop and there is the ability to ask questions to the speaker throughout the session.

In light of the temporary closure of all mosques in Dubai in order to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus and the recommendation to perform all prayers at home, JILC would like to share videos from two of our Thursday night lecture speakers to help guide you on what to do now.

Through learning Surah Ikhlas your children will learn to love Allah, learn to recognise Arabic letters and begin to understand a number of etiquettes of a good Muslim including never to lie, to be kind, sharing and caring, helping the teacher and tolerance.

This programme will be headed by Miss Zainah, a teacher by profession

New Muslim Classes

Join JILC as we open our doors to welcome new Muslims with our friendly learning programme to increase knowledge and understanding of our beautiful religion with Sheikh Ayaz Housee.

Taking place every Monday evening after Maghrib prayer in’sha’Allah, the casual class will help attendees to walk the talk on their spiritual journey.

JILC will also open its doors every Monday in’sha’Allah from 9:30AM to 8:00PM for those who wish to know more about Islam.
